The FitSM Expert certification is the highest level of the FitSM qualification scheme, recognising professionals who can lead, consult on, and audit IT service management initiatives across organisations. Built on the lightweight, standards-based FitSM framework, this course prepares you to bridge the gap between strategic ITSM governance and practical day-to-day service delivery – giving you the authority to drive real transformation in any IT environment.

Delivered over two intensive days (plus three hours of pre-course remote learning), the programme consolidates your Advanced-level knowledge while expanding into leadership, organisational change, audit methodology, and maturity assessment. Entry Requirements

  • Candidates must hold both FitSM Advanced certificates: Service Planning & Delivery (SPD) and Service Operation & Control (SOC).

Course Details

  • Duration: 2 days classroom training + 3 hours pre-course remote learning (18 contact hours total)
  • Certification: APMG International
  • Exam: 75-minute closed-book exam – 40 multiple-choice questions, 75% pass mark (30 of 40 correct)
